Platform Uniformity & Compatibility

Test Devices – up to four test mobile phones can be used simultaneously, including an assembled QVoice Symphony MIA.

GUI / MMI – identical display graphics and user interface is used in QVoice Companion as with QVoice Symphony. This design uniformity makes it quick and easy for a user to switch between the two measurement platforms without the need of further.

Software – the same measurement engine software as with QVoice Symphony gives users assurance of consistency of measured results – like trigger points and retries – irrespective of which QVoice platform is being used.

Speech Quality – users wishing to measure speech quality from their Companion have the option of using a Symphony MIA to run the associated algorithm which will deliver the same high performance speech quality MOS measurements as with QVoice Symphony.

QVoice Compact

QVoice Compact is a system package that gives users maximum functions and flexibility when network optimization and benchmarking work is out of the office. The system has everything needed for doing accurate and detailed testing as well as providing a full suite of analysis and presentation functionality.

QVoice Compact is a multi-channel measurement system in a notebook computer with two parts:

• QVoice Companion with 4 full data acquisition channels for speech or IP-data measurements has testing capabilities ranging from speech calls with ITU-PESQ and IP-Data (FTP, HTTP, PING, etc.) to Email, SMS/MMS, Video Streaming, and Video Telephony. It also handles Mobile TV including Video quality MOS (also during measurement).
• QVoice Presentation (QVP) equipped with powerful investigation and reporting programs for processing measurement data. Post analysis to the finest detail can be easily done in the field or back in the office.

QVoice Companion Backpack

Users get maximum usability with QVoice Companion Backpack – a universal tool ergonomically designed into a backpack. Companion Backpack is the ideal solution for network testing in places not reachable by car – places subscribers go and where they expect equal quality ofmobile services experienced elsewhere.

There are many locations such as congress centers, shopping malls, airports and rail stations where customers would like to access E-mail and other mobile data services. There are also other areas, not indoors, that are growing in importance in terms of network quality requirements. These sites include city-centre pedestrian only streets and some entertainment venues and sports facilities.

These off-road places can cover a lot of ground and getting around – on-foot – comfortably is very important.

Therefore a lightweight and highly maneuverable trolley is available, with large wheels for easy stair climbing and a kickstand keeping the unit upright when parked. With all weather protection, simply strap the backpack on the trolley and stroll away. The tablet PC with GUI sits on top for easy user control.

And once out and about, you can cover even larger areas since QVoice Portable functions equally well in drive-testing.

Put it on the passenger seat, secured with the original backpack shoulder straps and belt. The built-in single patch-antenna is shared with all phones.
